In the woods canteen you can take a quiet break while the children enjoy the playground under the watchful eye of their parents. You can also bring your dog if it is on a lead.

the most extensive bicycle route network in Belgium,
a RivierPark Maasvallei with the most beautiful panorama of Flanders,

You will leave with a view of the Maas.
The Maas is the lifeline of the River Park Maasvallei. In the RivierPark Maasvallei there are beautiful, authentic villages connected by a cord through the Maas.
A number of estates and castle domains are also well preserved here.
The town of Stokkem and Oud-Dilsen are anchors of a rich Maasland regional history.

You can also take beautiful walks here: in the Negenoord nature reserve of approx. 200 ha.

The high season for hot air balloon rides is between Easter and the end of October.

Ballooning can only be done in calm weather and people set out shortly before sunset or shortly after sunrise. A trip lasts for around an hour and a maximum of 3 to 4 passengers are allowed on board.

During the trip, the pilot provides you with a more extensive explanation of things that you would never have seen from ground floor level.

At the Kelchterhoef ballooning field in summer balloons take off every day and you can enjoy the colourful spectacle during a family picnic or from a terrace.

ndoor Golf Adventure "The Mine" is the newest attraction at Park Molenheide and winner of the THEA-award for outstanding achievement worldwide in 2009.

An adventurous golf cours, built like a mine, where light, smell, sound and movement play an important role. An elevator will bring you to an altitude of 7,5 m where the search for Carlo Carbone, the miner, can begin.

You will descend three meters by making your way through mine shafts outfitted with a creaking conveyor belt, a rusty sorting machine and a shack of a power room that seems as it could cave in at any moment. Pickaxes and boots are strewn along the pathways. The path vibrates because of the drilling and the machine room is still full of activity.

Like a miner you descend into the mine while playing and discovering many types of mines like diamond and gold mines. You can even meet some dinosaurs.

The ideal trip for young and old.

Some locations have already received an extra construction, like the Irish Cross in Lafelt, where an audio presentation in open air brings the bloody Battle of Lafelt back to life.
