More than 40 years

In 1982, brothers Felice and Mario Ottati and sisters Liliana and Dora Rizutto opened Ristorante Arlecchino in the heart of Hasselt. Here they bring contemporary and refined Italian cuisine in an atmosphere of typical Italian customs. At Arlecchino you are at the right place for a quick or extensive lunch, but also for a culinary dinner with a choice of three menus. The kitchen is run by chef Mario. Liliana is responsible for the appetizers and desserts. The important bond of family is further emphasized with the arrival of Alessio Ottati in the business.

In addition to the Italian delicacies on the menu at Arlecchino, Felice and Alessio run VinodiVino, a wine shop with an extensive and exclusive wine selection from Italy's main wine regions. VinodiVino regularly holds wine tastings at various locations announced on the website. These tastings can also be organized at home for private or business groups.

The success of Arlecchino has not gone unnoticed in Italy, in 1998 the Ottati brothers received a certificate for "best foreign ambassador of Italian cuisine" from the hands of then President Luigi Oscar Scalfaro and were included in Il Cucchiaio d'argento, for years the best-selling cookbook in Italy.
