Brewery & Grand Café "Remise 56"
The former depot of the (steam!) tram in Koersel (Beringen) was built in 1907. This characteristic building at the terminus of the former Diest–Koersel tram line has been beautifully renovated with great respect for its industrial heritage and now houses Brewery & Grand Café REMISE 56.
Our copper brewing kettles are located right in the grand café! A truly unique setting to enjoy our beers, brewed on site.
Of course, in addition to our own beers, we also offer a wide selection of other beverages.
Whether you are feeling a small or a big hunger, you will find plenty of choice on our extensive menu (snacks, starters, pasta dishes, fish, meat, desserts, …).
You can also come to us for your (family) celebration or business event.
For groups (associations, coach companies, tour operators), we offer special and attractive arrangements (tourism menus).
Brewery & Grand Café Remise 56 features a large terrace and is located just a stone’s throw away from the cycling route network.
Open daily (except Mondays) from 11:30 am.
During a guided tour (for groups; by appointment), you will enjoy a fascinating story about the history of the building, the brewery, the secrets of the brewing process and the beers.
Brewery tour (including 2 complimentary drinks)
€11.50 per person; minimum €230 per group
€7 for children under 12 years
Free for children under 6 years
