Optimbulles Winery Jesseren

In the 90s, winegrowers Guy Geunis, Maxim Geunis, Theo Pasque and Rik Schreurs started a vineyard in Jesseren (Hoogveld). They decided to focus on sparkling wines from the three Champagne grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
Optimbulles is careful to make the wine as natural as possible, and not to sweeten the wines.

Since a few years, they have been using apples from Borgloon to make their sparkling wine. Optimbulles also makes red and white natural wines.
