Around April the fruit region of Haspengouw comes to live. It's the time the beautiful blossoms appear on the fruit trees. Early summer, the cherries are ready for picking, and by the end of August, the apples and pears are ripe for the picking as well. From mid-September, the winegrowers get to work in their vineyards. During this period from April to October, there are numerous fruity activities that not only attract hikers and cyclists but also lovers of life and peace seekers to the southern part of Limburg.
