Solar panels generate the electricity. Ceiling heating in combination with two heat pumps ensures comfortable temperatures and hot water. Rainwater is recovered, and rinse water is purified. Add to that triple glazing, LED lighting and a home automation system with presence sensors and you realize why the ecological footprint is minimal.
