Considered to be among one of the biggest castle domains in Belgium and the Netherlands, Alden Biesen offers a magnificent setting for your next multi-day event. With 3500 square meters of meeting space, including multiple plenary meeting spaces for 100-350 people, and a wide range of breakout rooms, the Grand Commandery can cater to all of your meeting needs.

The impressive site, recently awarded a ‘Flanders Heritage Venue’ label, is illustrative to the important economic, religious and socio-cultural role the site played in the region. Over the past centuries the Commandery grew into an astonishing castle estate. Since its origins in 1220, Alden Biesen evolved to become a magnificent cultural heritage site. Today, the castle and its surrounding buildings form the heart of an extensive green domain where conferencing guests can enjoy the heritage experience that is evident throughout the site.
