Walking area Fruit Valley
The fruit valley walk takes you past old orchards. You pass Stayenmolen, the Molenbeek stream valley, the Wilderen brewery and distillery and the Maasrode waiting basin. There are three loops: 2.7 km, 7 km and 11 km. You can start at the back of the station and at the brewery. Sturdy buggies can follow the smallest loop.
With the children, you can also explore the beautiful Molenbeek creek valley and old fruit trees. During this short walk, children can romp to their heart's content and discover all about fruit and insects thanks to a quest (play bird quest). On the route is a fun play and picnic meadow with a giant slide over the water!
This walk is not suitable for the disabled. Walking maps of the fruit valley and the playground quest are available from Toerisme Sint-Truiden (Grote Markt z/n, 3800 Sint-Truiden).
