Equestrian Route: Oude Maai (16.8 km)

Discover the Watering near Lommel-Kolonie via the Oude Maai equestrian route. Water is central along this route. You start at Meerpaal, a passer-by harbor where it is pleasant to stay on the terraces, for a route over unpaved paths. Via the canal and the Grote Fossé, you ride to De Wateringen, a beautiful nature reserve where the flood meadows offer you a palette of colors. You also briefly cross the border with the Netherlands before trotting back to the starting point along the sand extraction lake.
