Chocolatier Vanwetswinkel is an artisan chocolaterie and started in the year 2000 with the manufacturing of artisan products with the finest Belgian chocolate. We are always working on a large collection and this according to the annual holidays such as Easter, St. Nicolas, Christmas, ...
But also our wide range of chocolates and chocolate snacks are available throughout the year.

Guided tour or workshop chocolate processing in a traditional chocolate shop, with tasting and drink is possible by appointment.

Where in earlier days the oxen stables used to be, you now can find a state-of-the-art brewery. During a restoration of the building, the old facades were fully propped up and renovated. The contemporary architectural design creates a pleasant tension between the monument of the old distillery and the modern brewery. In for some exploration of the site? No problem! The brewery and distillery can be visited through a guided tour. You can also relax on our spacious café or terrace for a nice tasting of our homemade brews (beers, gin and whiskey).

De Kapetulie is a nice brasserie in the centre of Achel. Here, traditional Flemish dishes are served in a cosy setting. For the beer lovers, there is a wide choice of beers.

Martenshuys is the ideal base for every cyclist. We
have a wide range of dishes but also guarantee a cosy atmosphere and ambiance.
During the week, the kitchen is closed between 14 and 17 h. In the weekend, the kitchen is open all day.

In this beautiful part of Haspengouw you can enjoy life and forge friendly, family and professional ties.

In the shadow of the winery and vinification room you can taste typical regional products, finger food and of course our own Montepertini products. These lively and aromatic wines are born of a sustainable mission: respect for nature and optimal use of everything that the vineyard produces. That vision also formed the basis for their distillates, 100% local based on the press residues.

Fairytale or chivalrous?

Would you like to end your family outing or bike ride with a visit to one of the vineyards? That is perfectly possible. The site under the bend of the Albert Canal in Eigenbilzen is the perfect setting for a magical evening. It gets even more fairytale-like on the Montepertini domain near Alden Biesen. A state-of-the-art wine estate of four hectares will soon arise at the historic gateway to the imposing castle domain. Here you can enjoy a majestic view of Limburg.

The good life

The range will soon expand further. And so the Celli family is getting closer and closer to its dream: its own top range of Belgian wines. Which tastes better nowhere than on this cozy terrace, right in the greenery of Limburg. Where everyone is really welcome: the casual passer-by, the inquisitive wine lover, the interested tourist and the genuine bon vivant. And even the littlest ones can taste it. Not from the wine, but from 'la dolce vita'!

Kuringen, a peaceful village close to Hasselt, where the local inhabitant sits in the village pub under the churchtower drinking a pint, probably not knowing that he’s in one of the rare villages in Flanders where biological beers are brewed.

The café has its origins as a butcher's shop where customers were treated to a beer or a drink while waiting.

We bought the café about 8 years ago and have given it a fresh air but still managed to retain its individuality.
It has become a place where everyone feels welcome.
Both walkers and cyclists like to be pampered here, young and old ... Everyone is welcome in our cozy cafe!
In the summer it is lovely to relax on our large terrace and under the old tree.
