A place to stay

B&B
Hidden between the undulations of the Limburg landscape, in the lovely hilly Haspengouw, is castle farm De Kerckhem. The Courtyard immediately removes you from all hustle and bustle. The coat- of-arms above the front door takes you back to 1648 when the noble family De Kerckhem restored the medieval farm house. This country house is the perfect base for discovering Belgium’s Limburg. There are surprises behind every hill: blossoming fruit trees, castles, antique markets and beautiful golf courses.

The comfortable hotel rooms have a country look with warm colours and rich upholstery. One of the rooms is wheelchair-friendly and includes an adapted bathroom and covered terrace. In the tower room you will find a library with an open fireplace, an honesty bar and a dining room for festive dinners.

The large kitchen with Aga-stove and an impressive table for 30 guests is the central point of the house. Breakfast is taken in the former International Flower School where cooking is done according to the slow food principle with products from the garden, all pesticide-free.
