A hidden treasure in the center of Hasselt

You find the stylishly decorated Hotel Hemelhuys in the historical centre of the cosy town of Hasselt, nearby some interesting museums, cfr. Modemuseum, Jenevermuseum, Stadsmus, Z33 (the house of contemporary art, design and architecture), the beautiful boutiques and shops and some amazing good restaurants.

The boutique hotel originated from a shared interest in welcoming guests from all cultures.

We offer our guests a haven of peace in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can feel at ease.

The hotel has been refurbished with a deep love for natural and warm materials like lime paint, Belgian linen, oak and terracotta tiles.
We like original pieces of furniture, which we collect from vintage markets in Provence, and which combine beautifully in our charming city house. Some vintage furnishings enhance the unique character of 't Hemelhuys.
Our guests are totally in love with our charming urban garden. During sunny days they can enjoy breakfast outside.

Breakfast includes: homemade bread, croissant and chocolate bread rolls, espresso, latte macchiato, cappuccino, “Dille & Kamille” tea, hot chocolade milk, fresh orange juice, an egg with or without bacon, homemade jam, various cheeses, salami and Italian ham, homemade granola and yoghurt and fresh fruit, everything served on self-designed pottery.
Breakfast can also be enjoyed without staying the night for € 25.00 per person.
Our house has 6 double rooms and 2 familyrooms where 4 people can sleep: Opaal and Onyx. The 3th/ 4th person can sleep in a comfortable sofa couch.
On request we can add a babybed in the room, and in the breakfast room a baby chair is available.

A secure parking space, 2 streets further on, can be booked for € 17
per night.
