Stylish accommodation in an old water mill!

Vacation Homes
This former watermill, located in the heart of the Belgian Voer region, is famous for being the top-most mill along the Voer river in the village of Sint-Pieters-Voeren. For centuries, this mill complex formed part of the nearby castle De Commanderie. The house dates back to 1731 and is virtually unchanged from its original state. The water mill with overshot wheel was decommissioned in 1922 and furnished as a residential house. At the moment, part of the former watermill is furnished and rented out as a four-person holiday home.

Enter the property through the small glass door that leads in from the patio. As soon as you step through the door, you are in the main room of this cosy house.
On the left-hand side is the open-plan kitchen, which is equipped with every convenience, including salt and pepper pots and a bottle of olive oil. Next to the kitchen is a dining table where you can enjoy meals together with your group.
From the kitchen, you can walk straight into the delightful living room where you can wind down after a fun day out. The open staircase in the living room takes you upstairs.
The first floor is an open area with the bedroom and adjacent bathroom. The bathroom is not enclosed and has a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Don’t worry if you’ve forgotten to bring your shampoo with you: there is shampoo, body wash, and body lotion available in the holiday home.
From the bedroom, stairs lead up to the mezzanine where you’ll find the second bedroom.

The garden faces south so there is no lack of sunshine. Nevertheless, there are enough trees to provide plenty of shade! Enjoy the tranquillity and countryside in this lovely spot in the Voer region.
