Cozy, Renovated 18th-Century Farmhouse Surrounded by Nature

The 2-person holiday home Luciole is located in the heart of the Belgian Voer region, in the hamlet of Veurs. On your way to this beautiful retreat, you’ll be amazed by the scenic views, and the true holiday feeling is guaranteed. Luciole occupies the left wing of an 18th-century monumental farm, which has undergone numerous renovations and extensions over the years. Since 2022, Thibault and Romanée have been the proud owners of this fully renovated home, using ecological materials such as wood, clay, and lime paint. Luciole is a delightful spot where you can enjoy the green surroundings along with the warmth and charm of a historic farmhouse.

Through the large gate, you enter the farm and are welcomed by the green oasis of flowers in the cozy courtyard. The holiday home is on the left, leading into a beautifully designed living space. The interior is filled with care and attention, creating a cozy, harmonious atmosphere. The living area includes a comfortable seating corner with sofa and armchair, and a central dining table that offers views of the courtyard through large windows. Adjacent is a semi-open kitchen, fully equipped with a stone countertop, and a separate toilet. The kitchen also provides access to a private side terrace.

Upstairs, the bedroom features comfortable single box-spring beds, and the landing forms a loft overlooking the living area—a perfect quiet spot to enjoy a book. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, double sink, and toilet.

Outside, you can relax on two terraces—one in the courtyard and one at the side of the farm—both equipped with garden furniture.

The surrounding area offers award-winning cycling and walking trails, making it an ideal base to explore the Voer region. The Burgundy-style village of Aubel, with its cafés and Sunday market, is just 3 km away, and Maastricht, Aachen, and Liège are only 20 minutes’ drive.
