Small, cosy half-timbered house with a large garden, located in the Belgian Voer region.

In the heart of the Belgian Voer region you will find a cosy half-timbered house called 'De Kraanvogel’ (The Crane). This two-person holiday home exudes a certain calmness thanks to the use of many ecological materials. Moreover, the home has a wonderful outdoor area and is the perfect base for exploring the treasures of the Voer region, starting with the castle across the street.

When you arrive at the courtyard, you will be welcomed by a large crane bird made of Corten steel. After entering the home, you will find yourself in a small hallway with wardrobe. On the ground floor you will also find the bathroom, which has a washbasin, shower and toilet. The staircase will take you to the first floor, where you will find the cosy living area. The living area is decorated with authentic furniture that perfectly matches the old building. Moreover, this area offers access to the roof terrace, from where you have a magnificent view of the castle. The open-plan, burgundy-coloured kitchen is small but has everything you need. There is for example plenty of tableware, a 2-burner gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, kettle and even a small dishwasher. The ladder on the first floor leads to the romantic bedroom, which is located in the ridge of the roof. Thanks to the comfortable box-spring bed you will have a great night's sleep.

As a guest of De Kraanvogel you not only have access to the roof terrace, but also to a large garden and courtyard. In the courtyard you will find a lovely, covered terrace. At this sheltered spot, you can for example drink a glass of wine, read a good book or enjoy the view of the flower-filled courtyard. If you follow the courtyard path, you will reach the large garden with old trees, a small lake, mushrooms and lush greenery. The garden offers a panoramic view of the beautiful surrounding landscape.
