At Biodiversity Discovery Centre Lieteberg you can enjoy nature and stand with both feet in the Hoge Kempen National Park. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet during one of the many signposted walking or cycling routes in and around Lieteberg.
The discovery centre is located in the middle of the "Greenest Sweets of Flanders" in Zutendaal, known as one of the most wooded municipalities in Flanders. Here you can take endless walks and cycle tours through woods and heathland, along streams and hills.

Then go in search of the native pearls in the flowery Butterfly Garden (open from May to September). The best place to relax is on the lovely grass terrace at Bistro Lieteberg with a refreshing honey beer, delicious ‘Limburgse vlaai’ (pie) or a nice hot meal.
