Located at the beguinage, the arts centre is a green oasis of peace in the heart of Hasselt. A place where amazement and stillness come together. With exciting exhibitions, Z33 makes tangible what is far away and offers poetic confrontations with societal themes. And would you like to experience art outside the exhibition walls? Z33 presents art in the open space, from Genk to the Maasland. This way, the arts centre wants to bring the world to Limburg and show Limburg to the world.

From 1878, this place was a stop on the Tienen-Tongeren route. The Station itself was built in 1893. The former waiting room and the goods warehouse now house an attractive restaurant. Here you can sample the extensive Haspengouw cuisine and the regionally brewed Bink beer, Kanunik Wilderen and Walsberger. We cook a new menu with beer every month.
Reservation for the restaurant is recommended.

At Fietsfabriek3740, you can also rent adapted bikes such as a wheelchair platform bike or a duo bike.

Fietsfabriek 3740 is a collaboration between Bilzen and vzw Alternatief.
This non-profit organisation aims to increase employment opportunities for all people through social employment.

Thor Central is an impressive industrial building which was given listed status after the closure of the mines. The option of turning the site into a technology park came up when looking for a new and meaningful use for Waterschei colliery, one that would give this magnificent building a bright new future.
Thor Central is now the beating heart of the Thor Park site. The Food Plaza is worth a visit in its own right, with the Partaasch restaurant and Lampada brasserie open to the public every day. The building is also well equipped for corporate events with meeting rooms, an auditorium, central reception and even a crèche. Exhibitions and events are organized here on a regular basis.

The Ciné Café is the catering facility on the cultural site in the heart of Lommel, next to UGC Cinema's Lommel and cultural center De Adelberg.
The cozy bar is furnished with a lot of attention for nature, with wood as the most important element. Are you on the road with a group, then you can gather around the oak table of no less than 6 meters long. But with two on the move, then enjoy each other in the salon.
As the only location in the region, the Ciné Café offers the delicious beers from the Abbey of Herkenrode. Or are you more interested in a delicious coffee preparation?

If you want to enjoy a locally brewed beer, then Genker Stadsbrouwerij BRAUW is the right place for you. Come and taste our beers right beside the fermentation tanks and experience the brewing process with us.

Next to some homebrewed beers, at BRAUW you will find a continuously varying offer of different beers and styles. Make sure to try our flight or paired flight, where you can enjoy the combined flavours between beer and a snack.

Finally, you can also come to us, by appointment, for a beer tasting or a beer-food pairing.

Near the tourist attractions of Tongeren, right on the bicycle route network and at the cultural center 'de Velinx' you will find brasserie Retro Velinx.

Enjoy a fresh pint or a delicious hamburger on our spacious summer terrace with a view of the beautiful ponds of the city park 'de Motten'. We serve an extensive range of home-made dishes ranging from summer tapas to Belgian classics and slow-cooked ribs.

The large parking lot of the city park is ideal as a starting and stopping place for a blissful walk or fun bike ride through the Haspengouw pearl.

In addition, children are more than welcome with us, our menu provides a wide choice of children's dishes.

Combine culture with a snack or drink, it is certainly possible! We are always open before and after the performances in 'De Velinx'.

Café De Vègtes has been guaranteeing a warm welcome to its guests for more than 40 years and spoils its customers with a wide choice of beers and Trappists, a wide range of soft drinks or a delicious cup of coffee. Our farm-style café has a beautiful sun terrace, a playground for young families, and is located at the edge of the forest on the border between the boroughs Hamont and Achel. As the crow flies, the Netherlands are only 1 km away from our pub.
Besides the wide selection of beverages, our customers can also enjoy a nice meal (fresh croques, pastas, pizza baguettes, homemade fries with vinaigrette or stew and delicious beef burgers). We also spoil you with delicious desserts such as Brussels waffles, cakes, sundaes ...
The recreational cyclist can choose from our location many walking and cycling routes in the beautiful "green" border area between Belgium and the Netherlands. Several hiking trails pass by our café as well as the "Teutenroute". We are a bicycle café, so cyclists are welcome and may eat their own sandwiches here while the bike is charged! If you have special requests (for groups, parties, etc.), please do not hesitate to contact us.

Fancy discovering the rolling Haspengouw countryside in an original way? Everyone knows our Italian friends, the Vespas, by now. But did you know you can explore the region with our cute Citroën 2hpk's? Sacre bleu! Route38's authentic 2hp, or "goats," provide young and old alike with a day full of fun, adventure and nostalgia.

The goats are perfectly maintained and all have their own name and character. You can set off on carefully mapped out routes during the summer. The Family Route is a tailor-made route for the whole family, including the little ones. Through the Regional Products Route you will learn about the products of the region (consumptions not included in the price). The Cultural Route leads you to the most remarkable places in the neighborhood. You can also set off in winter via the Vive l'hiver route to enjoy the beautiful winter landscape. Good at orientation? You can also map out your own route. Afterwards you can have a drink at the Café2CV.

The goats can be rented for a half or full day, but also for a full weekend or week. Enjoy beautiful views and a delicious picnic along the way. You can even rent the goats - on location or not - to turn your event or teambuilding into an unforgettable retro experience.

As soon as the evenings get a bit chilly, we light up the fireplace. Feel free to use our free Wi-Fi to share your visit on your social media. The brewery and distillery can be visited through a guided tour. You can also relax on our spacious café or terrace for a nice tasting of our homemade brews (beers, gin and whiskey).

The sliding windows, three-dimensional viewers, tunnels, doors, puzzles, sounds, lights and pictures of the nature-led educational exhibition reveal some of the secrets of that wonderful Voer-region. Did you know for instance that badgers and escargots or Roman snails are true inhabitants of Voeren? And that the mistletoe is hanging in the poplars as a real Christmas decoration?

Four inhabitants of Voeren welcome the visitor in their dialect. This immediately rouses the interest to get to know this “strange” region.
Next a panoramic view and a movie reveal a number of other secrets.
Through sliding panels you learn more about geology, the subsoil and the landscape. Interesting facts regarding fauna and flora are discovered in a playful way. By way of puzzles, buttons, tunnels, sounds and lights you get acquainted with a number of “special hosts” such as the badger, the escargot, the trout, the nurse-frog, the fire salamander, etc. “Southern and chalk loving plants” such as the mistletoe, wild marjoram, orchids, honeysuckle, red elderberry also love the region of Voeren ….
But not only nature is a main attraction point as the region also has a number of other worthwhile sights of interest such as the villages with their monumental and historic buildings and timbered houses: certainly worth a visit.
Beautiful pictures and pieces of craftsmanship will certainly rouse your interest. And the cow with a tower of milk will amaze every “townsman or woman”.

In the beautiful experience room, visitors can take a seat at a large table, leaf through the tourist guidebooks or study the cycling maps. In the shop, you will find a wide range of regional products and a comprehensive assortment of maps and historical books about Sint-Truiden.
