Stage 4: NPHK and valley of the Meuse

This route runs along water and more water. From the experience 'Cycling through Water' in Bokrijk, we cycle north of Genk through the woods towards As Station. On top of the watchtower, we overlook the Hoge Kempen National Park.  We continue our bike ride and after exploring the national park, we arrive at the banks of the Meuse river in Maasmechelen. The route takes us downstream past Leut and Stokkem. In Maaseik, we take a break on a terrace looking at the Van Eyck brothers. In Aldeneik we buy a bottle of wine, and at our arrival point in Ophoven, we pop the cork. Cheers!
