The history of this mansion dates back to 1892, when Louis Steyns started the production of the prestigious shoe brand Ambiorix in Tongeren. This "shoe history" is subtly reflected throughout the hotel.
Breakfast is served in the beautiful orangery overlooking the garden. The rooms have high ceilings, natural stone mantelpieces, crystal chandeliers, rich wallpaper, parquet floors and all modern comforts. You can enjoy the reading room where you can have drinks, coffee, newspapers, magazines.
This latest hotel is incredibly close to the railway station, shopping streets, the largest antiques market in the Benelux. Also the Gallo-Roman Museum, the Beguinage, the medieval walls, the Moerepoort, .... are really within walking distance.
