Archaeological landmark Jesseren

In Jesseren, you will find an archaeological landmark: the excavations of a Gallo-Roman villa. The signpost will guide you to a picnic area with a toposcope.

That toposcope has the shape of the Gallo-Roman well that was excavated there. You will discover the story of this Gallo-Roman site, as well as seven other interesting archaeological sites in the near surroundings.

Another section of the landmark is located on the slope of the water buffer basin. Here, you will see the Latin word 'aqua' next to an arrow pointing to the Gallo-Roman stone well.

A visit to this archaeological landmark is free of charge.
