Archaeological landmark Jesseren

The archaeological landmark in Jesseren is definitely worth a visit.
A contemporary signpost with shapes of the excavated grave goods leads
you to an orientation table. This table is located at a relaxation and picnic
area. The orientation table has the shape of the Gallo-Roman well that
was excavated here. You can discover the story of this Gallo-Roman site,
but also of seven other interesting archaeological sites in the wider area.

A third section is located in the slope of the large water basin. You can read
the Latin word ‘Aqua’ with next to it an arrow pointing to the bottom.
This arrow points to a largely preserved stone well from Gallo-Roman times.
