Het Dorpshuys

Because of its location in the valley of the stream Bosbeek, 't Dorpshuys is the ideal location for nature experience, sightseeing, water sports or shopping.

From our holiday home you can start a relaxing trip on foot, by bike or mountain bike through the surrounding nature reserves of the Hoge Kempen National Park like the Duinengordel, Bergerven, Donderslag and Solterheide... even cross-border cycling is possible.

Water sports enthusiasts can go to the Rivierpark Maasvallei for supping on the Meuse lakes or for an adventurous kayaking or rafting trip on the Meuse!

Shoppers can indulge themselves in the outlet shopping center Maasmechelen Village or in the cities of Genk, Bree, Maaseik or just over the border in Maastricht.

Our holiday home 't Dorpshuys, the historic old town hall of Opoeteren, can be rented for up to 12 people for a minimum of 2 nights and the ground floor (with an adapted bedroom for 2) and exterior are wheelchair accessible.

With 4 stars we offer you a lot of comfort: 5 bedrooms with toilet/shower, airco, wifi and a smart TV. The living room downstairs has a large kitchen with a comfortable dining and sitting area with smart TV.

Do you love the outdoors? There are three large terraces to relax together or to sunbathe. Parasols of a combined 25 m² protect you from the heat as you rest on our new lounge terrace. Culinary delights on beautiful evenings are possible with our large gas BBQ.

For relaxation, there is a petanque court, the children can expend their energy in our spacious, sustainably equipped playground.
