We crawl in the saddle for the final stage of this multi-day cycling tour and draw our starting line in the sand of the Lommel Sahara. First, we cycle along the Bocholt-Herentals Canal and then from the Blauwe Kei along the Canal to Beverlo. Close to the garrison town Leopoldsburg, we take a detour via the Gerheserheide nature reserve. The Beringen slag heaps announce the impressive mining site be-MINE with its mining museum, climbing walls, and indoor diving center. At the Turkish bakery, we buy some sweet pastries and cycle on the coal track Kolenspoor towards the Albert Canal. We continue our tour on the towpath. At junction 93 we cross the canal and finish our Tour of Limburg at the Herkenrode Abbey Site, where we enjoy a drink on the terrace. One last round?
