Once the headquarters of the Teutonic Order, today a magnificent heritage site owned by the Flemish government. The domain itself, the church, the English and French gardens and the tourist reception center are free to visit. The moated castle with the restored apartment of the Grand Commander can only be visited with a guide or during a temporary exhibition.
