Café De Vègtes

Café De Vègtes has been guaranteeing a warm welcome to its guests for more than 40 years and spoils its customers with a wide choice of beers and Trappists, a wide range of soft drinks or a delicious cup of coffee. Our farm-style café has a beautiful sun terrace, a playground for young families, and is located at the edge of the forest on the border between the boroughs Hamont and Achel. As the crow flies, the Netherlands are only 1 km away from our pub.
Besides the wide selection of beverages, our customers can also enjoy a nice meal (fresh croques, pastas, pizza baguettes, homemade fries with vinaigrette or stew and delicious beef burgers). We also spoil you with delicious desserts such as Brussels waffles, cakes, sundaes ...
The recreational cyclist can choose from our location many walking and cycling routes in the beautiful "green" border area between Belgium and the Netherlands. Several hiking trails pass by our café as well as the "Teutenroute". We are a bicycle café, so cyclists are welcome and may eat their own sandwiches here while the bike is charged!
