Stage 3: Castles, collieries and De Wijers

With the Voer region behind us, we head northwards. At the Vroenhoven bridge, we leave the Albert Canal and kick off a rather classic stage. Challenging climbs and a cobbled section lead us to Alden Biesen. At the top of the Apostle House, we notice that the plain stretches north of us. From Bilzen we cross the Albert Canal towards Zutendaal. We pass the Lieteberg and Kattevennen, two entrance gates to the Hoge Kempen National Park. Via creative C-mine, the tasty Vennestraat, and nature reserve De Maten, we arrive at Domein Bokrijk, where we finish the cycling stage at the experience 'Cycling through Water'.
