Go get your 'krulbollen' on!

Not many people will be familiar with the West Flemish folk sport of 'krulbollen'. Still, it is great fun to give it a try. The game, which is played with thick, flat discs, is reminiscent of petanque. the goal is to roll your curly ball as close to a small pole as possible. Teams of three or four playerscompete on a sandy pitch. the sport of 'krulbollen'has been officially recognized as cultural heritage since 2010.
