Spacious apartment in authentic farm in Haspengouw

Logies Het Hemelsveld is a characterful square farmhouse in Alken, only 10 km from Hasselt and Sint-Truiden, in the heart of Haspengouw. Paul and Diantha welcome you in their authentic farmhouse with large garden, with four holiday accommodations for 4 to 6 people.

Het Zwaluwnest is the latest project within the walls of Het Hemelsveld, located on the first floor in one of the former attics of the farm. This apartment of approx. 100m2 can also accommodate up to six people. There are two separate bedrooms, a living room with a comfortable sofa bed and an equipped kitchen. Air conditioning provides cooling on hot days. The apartment has the extra asset of a large luxurious bathroom with bath, rain shower and toilet.
Bed, bath and kitchen linen is provided. For the little ones there is a free high chair and cot with mattress. Water, tea and coffee (filter and Nespresso) is on the house. There is also free WiFi, Netflix and (closed) parking.

On request, an 'Alkens breakfast' is delivered to the door in the morning, in the form of a richly filled picnic basket with regional and homemade goodies. On sunny days you can also order an extensive BBQ package with organic meat, vegetables and salads.

You can relax in the infrared sauna, the peaceful garden and sun terraces. For the children there is a large trampoline, swings and outdoor toys, and a petanque court for pleasant summer evenings with family and friends. In the harvest season you can also feast on the cherries, apples, forest fruits and walnuts in the garden.

Alken is the perfect base to explore the fruit and blossom region. Visit cozy Sint-Truiden or Hasselt, discover Limburg on one of the many cycling routes and enjoy the Limburg gastronomy. Be sure to ask Paul & Diantha for their personal tips for fun trips and tasty restaurants in the area.
